PolaGrid — Privacy Policy

1. Who this is about

PolaGrid is a puzzle game published by Pictus Studio for Android. This policy explains what the game does with information, and what the services it relies on do with it. Contact: pictus.apps.studio@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Nothing. Pictus Studio operates no server for this game, keeps no database, and does not transmit anything about you or your device to itself. There is no sign-in, no profile and no analytics tool embedded in the game.

3. What is stored on your device

The game saves the following locally, using Android's own app storage:

• which levels you have completed, and your best move count on each;
• which badges you have earned;
• your daily challenge history and current streak;
• your settings — sound, vibration, language.

None of this is personal information, none of it is sent anywhere, and all of it is removed when you uninstall the game. You can also erase it from inside the game at any time, with Settings → Reset progress.

4. Advertising

PolaGrid displays a banner advertisement supplied by Google AdMob. To serve those ads, Google may collect and process information such as:

• your device's advertising identifier;
• device model, operating system version and language;
• coarse location, derived from your IP address;
• how you interact with the ads shown.

This processing is carried out by Google under its own terms, not ours, and Pictus Studio never receives that data. What Google collects and why is described in the Google Privacy & Terms, and how it is used in advertising specifically in AdMob's own documentation.

5. Purchases

If you buy the option to remove advertising, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and tells the game whether the purchase is active; Pictus Studio never sees your name, your address or any payment detail.

6. Use of the internet

The game requests internet access for one purpose only: loading and displaying advertisements, and confirming a purchase if you have made one. Every part of the game itself — the levels, the daily challenge, your progress — works without a connection.

7. Your choices

• Limit ad personalisation. On Android, Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset or delete your advertising ID, which stops ads being tailored to you.
• Remove ads. The in-app purchase removes the banner, and with it the ad network's involvement.
• Erase everything. Settings → Reset progress inside the game, or simply uninstall it.

8. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland

The GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over your personal data. Because Pictus Studio holds no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side for those rights to apply to — there is no record to send you and none to delete. For data held by Google as the advertising provider, please exercise those rights with Google directly through the links in section 4.

9. If you are in California

Pictus Studio does not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined by the CCPA, because it collects none.

10. Children

PolaGrid is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone, of any age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this game, please write to us and we will look into it — though, as explained above, the game has no channel by which that could happen.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be revised if the game gains a feature, or changes an advertising provider, in a way that affects it. Any revision is published on this page and the date at the top is updated. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the revised policy.
